Mill codes can be up to 6 characters and mill information such as location is maintained for each mill.
Area (Compartment) codes can be up to 12 characters and information such as the owner and timber type is maintained for each area (compartment).
The Volume Table code can be up to 3 characters and each table contains up to 45 diameter breaks and volume calculation entries as supplied by the NSW Forestry Commission.
The Specie code can be up to 3 characters and each table contains information on specie type (Hardwood or Pine), reporting group, volume table (for pine) and waste diameter for waste reporting.
The Log Quality code can be up to 9 characters and any number of codes can be defined that relate to a Forestry Commission Quality Code.† This allows for improved reporting and expanded contractor payment options.† The Quality also allows for minimum and maximum length and diameter settings to warn when data entry is outside of the normal values.
The Royalty Table code can be up to 3 characters and has 18 diameter breaks as used by the NSW Forestry Commission.† The Royalty Tables are used for both royalties and for contractor payments and any number of tables can be created.† The tables are linked to areas (compartments) and species in Maintain Area Royalties and to machines, areas (compartments), species and qualities in Maintain Contractor rates.
Royalty tables are recorded for each specie in each area (compartment) in this module.
Royalty (Contractor Rate) tables are recorded for each quality code for each specie in each area (compartment) for each contractor machine in this module.† This arrangement means that contractor payments can be based on up to 18 diameter sizes for each specie and quality in an area on a machine basis.

Log Receipts provides for the entry of delivery docket information together with felling, snigging, barking and loading machine information.† The receipting calculates the log volumes and provides a total volume for checking the delivery docket.† The docket can be edited until the tally is posted so that the adjusted length can be altered.† All royalties and contractor payments are made on the adjusted length which initially defaults to the recorded length.
Log consumption converts logs from available to consumed or wasted.† The module also allows the reverse of this process.† A reference field is available for the user to record the batch, lathe or saw details.
