The SpeeDEV team consists of Management, Advisors, and a Board of Directors. It is committed to creating a value proposition for its customers, employees and its shareholders. Its primary goal is to build and deliver a superior product & service for its customers and to continue to give them a compelling reason to use its services. At the same time, Management is keenly aware that in order to build a great organization a company needs to empower its employees, reward them and grow the company from within. Last, but not the least, it will take a lesson from the Year 2000 debacle of Internet companies and create a profitable business.
Sky Basu, Founder & CEO
Since 1994, Sky Basu has been CTO at AgniRoth, and more recently, the acting CEO. He has worked extensively in the Internet
area, delivering mission critical applications for HP, USWeb
(now marchFIRST), Solectron
and
Mr. Basu has over 14 years of experience in
developing software applications, mentoring engineers and managing software
companies. Prior to starting AgniRoth, Mr. Basu was the
Executive Director at Temple Private Ltd., where he developed a superior PCB
Routing algorithm and an industry-leading Profile
Cutting engineering software, PSS-90. He
is credited for growing the company from a handful of
developers to over forty engineers. Mr. Basu holds a B.Tech from IIT and
an MS from ISI.
Sandeep
Tiwari, Vice President Sales & Marketing
As the Director of Channel Sales at JetForm (now
Adobe) and Symantec, Sandeep created and implemented a highly successful
channel sales program, where he increased the number
of channel partners tenfold, and channel revenues by 400%. He has been recognized in the national press
for his Channel Program-setup and execution, and his Sales Process Seminars
have won legions of support from the VAR community.
As Director of Marketing and Product Management at Fujitsu Software Sandeep helped create and launch i-Flow and a startup -- Solix Internet (now eMagia). He owns several patents in process automation technology, and brings to SpeeDEV an expertise in Workflow Tools, Process Automation, Utilities (WinFAX, Norton etc.), Relational Databases and Tools. Sandeep holds bachelor's degrees in Physics & Computer Science, and an MBA from San Jose State University.
Atanu Majumdar,
Founder & Director - Engineering
Mr. Majumdar joined AgniRoth
in 1996, making invaluable contributions to the company. His ability to master
multiple technologies and build scaleable system architectures has won the
praise of his clients and an award from Microsoft. At AgniRoth,
he created several of the 'Best Practices,' and successfully executed projects
as a project manager and senior developer for many Silicon Valley
organizations: HP, Adaptec, Stanford University and USWeb
(now marchFIRST). Prior to AgniRoth
he was at Temple Private Ltd. Mr. Majumdar has 7
years of experience in software design, architecture and project management.
Mr. Majumdar graduated at the top of his class with a
B. Tech in Computer Science from Calcutta University, where he also completed a
B.S. in Physics.
Amit Parikh, CFO
Amit Parikh (President, OutForce, LLC) was the CFO of two successful startups, ZeitNet, Inc., and PipeLinks, Inc., which were acquired by Cabletron Systems
and Cisco Systems respectively. Mr. Parikh has ten years of
"start-up" experience, including intensive mergers and acquisitions
expertise, and ten more years of Public Accounting and Industry experience. In
addition, Mr. Parikh is currently the CFO and member/partner of two venture
funds, Anthelion Capital, LLC (since 1996) and Anthelion Capital II, L.P.
(since 1999). In his role as a venture investor, he has funded nearly eighty
companies thus far and assisted several others.
Abhay
K. Bhushan
Most recently, Mr. Bhushan was Executive Vice
President, Chief Financial Officer and Co-founder of YieldUP
International Corporation, a public company acquired by FSI International in
1999. In 1996, Mr. Bhushan was Co-founder, Chairman,
President, CEO, CFO and VP of Business Development of Portola Communications, a
private company acquired by Netscape in 1997.
Mr. Bhushan worked in technical management, business
development, and environmental leadership for Xerox Corporation from 1974 to
1996. From 1967 to 1974, he was a member of the research staff for M.I.T.'s Project MAC. Mr. Bhushan
actively mentors a number of start-ups in Silicon Valley and serves on the
Board of I-leverage, Metamata, and Quantum Find. He
is an advisor to HotBiz.com, Malltrip.com, and B-Bop Associates. He received
his B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from
I.I.T. Kanpur, and master's degrees in Electrical
Engineering and in Management from M.I.T.
Mark
Cameron White
Mr. White is Partner and Co-Founder at White and Lee, where he represents
emerging growth companies and investment funds on all matters relating to the
formation, financing, growth and liquidity of technology based enterprises.
Mr. White has represented recognized companies -- such as HotMail,
Nuvomedia, Native Minds, 3ware, SurfMonkey.com,
garageband.com, Betasphere, the EDA Consortium and AirFlash -- and venture capital funds such as New
Enterprise Associates, Nexit Ventures and Selby
Ventures.
Mr. White has written several papers on matters affecting emerging growth
companies, and has spoken on these topics in seminars organized by the Software
Development Forum, the Northern California Association of Harvard Business
School, the International Angels Institute, the Asian Business Association, the
EDA Consortium and other groups. Mr. White has also spoken on these topics in
Singapore, the Peoples Republic of China and Malaysia. He is the organizer of the
"Soup to Nuts" seminar series, which, in 2000, was sponsored by
Silicon Valley Bank, New Enterprise Associates, NASDAQ, Microsoft and Oracle.
Mr. White holds a J.D. degree from Boalt Hall School
of Law, UC-Berkeley, and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.

Shyamal Chaudhury
Mr. Chaudhury has been President and Founder of Asquare since 1998. From '94 to '98, he was CEO at AgniRoth, a boutique consulting firm focusing on software projects
and products. Mr. Chaudhury also launched the US
subsidiary of Edidacom in 1988, a European publisher
of Computer Based Training products. As VP of Marketing & Sales, he worked
closely with the media to gain national coverage. Mr. Chaudhury
brings an entrepreneurial heart, a large network of Silicon Valley business
executives, and over 12 years of experience in Business Development and Sales.
He is highly active in the buzzing community of Indian entrepreneurs and has
helped develop the community site for IIT Kanpur, the
alma mater of many of these capitalists and executives.
He received a PhD in Physics from SUNY, Buffalo, and is a graduate of IIT.
Andy Bose (AMI Venture Partners)
Anindya (Andy) Bose is founder, chairman, and CEO of
Access Markets International (AMI-Partners, Inc.). Mr. Bose specializes in
primary research, competitive and strategic market analyses, product planning
and positioning, technology assessments, financial analysis, M&A activity,
Venture Capital, and the development of business strategies. He has more than
20 years of experience in the computer, communications, and electronic
entertainment industries.
Prior to co-founding AMI-Partners, Mr. Bose was Group Vice President of
IDC/LINK (formerly LINK Resources), a firm he joined in 1983. Mr. Bose served
on IDC's Management Committee, and under his guidance LINK emerged as a leading
consulting firm in personal computing, telecommunications, interactive new
media, online communications, consumer, home office, and small business segments.
Mr. Bose frequently participates in industry events in the United States, Asia,
and Europe, and has most recently spoken at COMDEX and CES. He has appeared on
ABC, CNN, CNBC-TV, and other channels, and is often quoted by leading trade and
business publications such as the The Wall Street
Journal, The New York Times, Investors Business Daily, Fortune, Forbes, and
Business Week. He has written articles for Barrons
and other trade publications.
